Monday Wine Q&A: Celebrating Max

I had the privilege of actually joining my wine bestie for her show! Catch up on this birthday celebration 🍾 We’re drinking a FLY wine in honor of the expert herself!

Have you ever had a Ruinart Blanc de Blancs? If you haven’t I’d highly recommend it for you own birthday celebration this year!

This was a ton of fun to try and my BGW wine rating is a TEN 💁🏾‍♀️🍷✨

Please ignore my blinking statue posture in the beginning 😂

Happy Monday!

This Lunetta Prosecco received an 8.5 raing scale from me and what I love about it is how fruity it is! It’s the perfect sparkling to mix with your fresh juices for brunch. Try this when the girls come over and I promise you’ll love it!

Until next week happy Sipping winefriends!

Holiday Draaanks: Apple Cider Mimosas

Here is a twist on a classic, Apple Cider Mimosas. This is a simple and delicious recipe that will impress your brunch guests. I recommend a spiced cider (think cinnamon and cloves). If you’re feeling frisky, you can even make the cider from scratch.

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Pour apple cider into a champagne flute or cup

  2. Top with prosecco or champagne

  3. Enjoy!

What We’re Loving: May Favorites

It seems like this month has been going on forever! And the long weekend definitely only added to that feeling. May has been full of faves that we couldn’t wait to share with you. Make sure to watch a recap of the most recent episode of #WineDownLIVE to catch the full review!

Chicken Pesto Pasta Recipe

FullSizeRender.jpg

We mentioned this yummy recipe during the LIVE show this week and all the ladies wanted details so here’s the recipe from our founder! If you try it out make sure to share it with us on social with the hashtag #bgwWineDown.

1 container of pre-cut zoodles

1 pack of organic chicken breast

2 tablespoons of Garlic Herb Butter (Sam’s Club)

1/2 jar of Classico Pesto Pasta Sauce

Seasonings: Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Pepper, Oregano, Parsley

Directions: Clean, Season, and cook your chicken breast on top of the stove in olive oil until soft but cooked thoroughy. Add pesto sauce and butter. Once butter has melted down add zoodles. DO NOT cook zoodles longer than 5-7 minutes to make sure they maintain their firm texture and don’t get too mushy. Add extra seasoning and parmesan to taste.

Not every girl uses her nail time for self care but if you do then you must try this black owned nail laquer brand! We absolutely love them and our founder is way too obsessed (like owns almost the entire collection obsessed). The product where’s well, goes on thick like a gel and last at least 7 days. The color options are so gorge! Color shown above: ‘Unbroken’

Catch the rest of our my faves on Wine Down LIVE every Wednesday at 8:30pm Eastern!

#WhatWereLoving Wednesday & everything in between

Happy Wednesday wine besties!

I miss you all so much tonight but I am still under the weather so I am unable to go LIVE! But that will not stop our party! I obviously am drinking nothing but Theraflu but that doesn't mean there aren't a few things I'm super excited about. Check out #WhatWereLoving Wednesday and make sure to talk back in the comments!

Diddy is making wine

Not to sure what his first label will be but we’re definitely looking forward to what is in the works. Looks like right now he’s accepting contact regarding the wine & spirits brand. (So if you’re a wine maker I would head on over like

now. Click here)

The Congressional Black Caucus “won’t here for none” last night...and we weren’t either!

Last night members of the congressional black Caucus showed OWT at the #SOTU rocking Kente cloth in response to Trumps recent comments about Africa. Too much? We think not
